Driver AID Scanner Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

Driver AID Scanner is built to help delivery drivers scan, organize, find packages, and optionally track block mileage while keeping package route data on the device.

Information We Collect

Driver AID Scanner is designed to work offline. The app does not require an account, login, email address, phone number, or Amazon credentials.

Route details, package identifiers, scan results, and package location labels entered or scanned in the app are stored locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.

If you choose to start block mileage tracking, the app collects location points during that active tracking session to calculate miles, trip duration, and estimated fuel cost. Mileage tracking is optional and can be stopped from inside the app.

Camera Access

The app may request camera access so it can scan package labels and read Driver AID codes. Camera access is used only for scanning inside the app.

Images from the camera are processed on your device. We do not upload, store, or share camera images.

Location Access and Mileage Tracking

The app may request location access when you start the optional block mileage tracker. Background location may be used only while a mileage tracking session is active so the app can continue calculating miles while you deliver.

Location points, mileage totals, and trip duration are stored locally on your device. We do not use location to track you outside an active mileage session.

The app may use the city or state from the starting location to estimate average fuel cost. Reverse geocoding may be handled by the device operating system, and the app may request public gas price information by state. Package data is not included in those requests.

How We Use Information

Information you enter or scan is used only to help you organize, search, and locate packages during your delivery route.

Mileage and fuel estimates are used only to help you understand the distance, duration, and approximate fuel cost of a delivery block.

Because package organization data works locally, your route data remains under your control on your device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share route data, package data, scan results, camera images, or precise trip history with advertisers, analytics providers, Amazon, or other third parties.

When fuel estimates are used, the app may contact a public gas price source using general location information such as state. This is used only to estimate fuel cost.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stays on your device until you clear it in the app or remove the app from your device.

If you use the in-app clear route option, the stored route information is removed from the app so you can start fresh.

Children’s Privacy

Driver AID Scanner is intended for delivery drivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
